Although it does not happen often, you may see the “CA busy” message when we are experiencing unexpectedly high call volumes and all of our live stenographers are assisting other users with their calls. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you and ask for your patience and understanding.
We would also like to inform you that InnoCaption also offers the ability to use our best-in-class automated speech recognition (ASR) technology for captioning as a backup for instances when all of our live stenographers are busy. This means you will never see the “CA busy” message and all calls will go through with captioning. If a live stenographer is unavailable at a given time, the speech recognition software will take over temporarily until a live assistant becomes available. Please set your caption mode to CA Priority mode for this backup ASR feature to be enabled.
There are two ways of switching between caption modes on your device. The first method, through your device's Settings menu, will change your captioning mode for all future calls. If you change the captioning mode through the Keypad menu, your choice of captioning mode will only last for the duration of your next call. If you want to change the mode for all calls, we suggest you change your preference through the Settings menu.
