InnoCaption's DeskView feature is a great way to make video conference calls accessible by having captions shown on your computer monitor right next to the video conference screen. To read more about how to use our DeskView feature, refer to the article here.
However, in order to use the DeskView for video conference meetings, you need to be able to dial in to the meeting through the InnoCaption app on your phone. This means that the meeting host must provide a telephone dial-in number to participants. Meeting hosts can ensure there is a telephone dial-in available by selecting the Telephone and Computer Audio setting under Audio when scheduling the meeting.
See the example screenshot below for the setting that the host must select - forward this article to your meeting host if you don't see a telephone access number for your meeting.
Note: Even if there is an alphanumeric password set for the meeting, Zoom will automatically generate a separate number-only password for telephone participants to use when dialing in.
