Is captioning available in languages other than English?

InnoCaption is able to provide captioning in other languages using AI, so you can select a secondary language of your choice. You can choose from over 15 different languages, with more options being added to the app. Currently, we are offering the following languages:

  • English
  • Spanish (US)
  • Spanish (Spain)
  • German
  • Filipino
  • French (Canada)
  • French (France)
  • Italian
  • Polish
  • Portuguese (Brazil)
  • Portuguese (Portugal)
  • Vietnamese
  • Greek
  • Russian

  • Chinese (Hong Kong)

If you would like to access captions in a secondary language, please follow the instructions below:

To access captions in a secondary language on an iPhone

  1. Open the InnoCaption app
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Under AI caption language, tap Secondary
  4. Select your preferred secondary language

To access captions in a secondary language on an Android

  1. Open the InnoCaption app
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap Caption Mode
  4. Tap Secondary Language
  5. Select your preferred secondary language
  6. Tap Done

If you would like to select captions in a secondary language as the default caption mode, for your next call, or during a call, please follow the instructions below:

To select captions in a secondary language as the default caption mode on an iPhone

  1. Open the InnoCaption app
  2. Tap Keypad
  3. Tap the Caption mode icon at the bottom left corner
  4. Select your preferred caption mode

To select captions in a secondary language as the default caption mode on an Android

  1. Open the InnoCaption app
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap Caption Mode
  4. Tap Default Caption Mode
  5. Tap your preferred mode
  6. Tap Done

To select captions in a secondary language during a call on an iPhone

  1. During a live call, tap the Caption mode icon on the bottom toolbar, to the right of the end call icon
  2. Select your preferred caption mode from the list
  3. Tap the (x) icon to return to the caption screen

To select captions in a secondary language during a call on an Android

  1. During a live call, tap the Caption mode icon on the bottom toolbar, to the right of the end call button
  2. Tap your preferred caption mode from the list
  3. You will automatically be taken back to the caption screen, and the selected caption mode will be displayed
