How to view and save call transcripts

InnoCaption offers you the ability to view and send your past call transcripts, which is useful for important or personal calls that you want to save and read in the future. Please follow the steps below to view and save your call transcripts.

Please note that due to our privacy policies, your call transcripts are not saved on InnoCaption servers and cannot be accessed or retrieved by us. Only you can save and restore your call logs.

To view your call transcripts on iPhone and Android

1. Open the InnoCaption app
2. Select Recents
3. Locate the correct call
4. Tap the transcript icon to the right of the call information- the icon is a grey square

To save a call transcript by emailing it to yourself on iPhone

1. Open the InnoCaption app
2. Select Recents
3. Select the call transcript you would like to save by tapping the transcript icon (a grey square) to the right of the call information
4. Select the email icon at the bottom of the page- the icon is an envelope with an arrow
   Note: If the "Mail services are not available" pop-up appears, your Mail app is not set up
5. Tap OK
6. An email draft will appear with the transcript in the body of the email. The "to" email address will automatically be filled with the email associated with your InnoCaption account.
7. Tap the grey arrow button in the upper right hand corner to send the transcript to yourself

Please note that for iPhones, you will need to have an email account associated with the iPhone native Mail application for emails to be sent out directly from the InnoCaption app. For instructions on how to set this up, please refer to Apple's instructions here. 

To save a call transcript by emailing it to yourself on Android

1. Open the InnoCaption app
2. Select Recents
3. Select the call transcript you would like to save by tapping the transcript icon (a grey square) to the right of the call information
4. Select the email icon at the bottom of the page- the icon is an envelope with an arrow
5. Tap YES
6. Select your preferred app
7. An email draft will appear with the transcript in the body of the email. The "to" email address will automatically be filled with the email associated with your InnoCaption account.
8. Tap the blue arrow button in the upper right hand corner to send the transcript to yourself
