If your carrier is Google-Fi, please follow the instructions to setup or cancel call forwarding.
To setup call forwarding
- Open the Google Fi website (fi.google.com) or app
- Select Account
- Select Phone settings
- Select Call forwarding
- Tap Add a number
- Enter your 10-digit InnoCaption number
- Verify the number
*Note: Since your InnoCaption number cannot receive text messages, please select “Verify by call” instead of “Verify by text.” You should receive a call to your InnoCaption number. Once you answer the call, you will be able to see the 6-digit verification code via captions. - Enter the 6-digit verification code
- Tap Verify
- Test if call forwarding was setup properly. Call your regular phone number from a different phone. You should see the incoming call come through the InnoCaption app. Captions should appear once you answer the call.
To cancel call forwarding
- From your phone’s home screen, select the Settings app
- Select Account
- Select Phone settings
- Select Call forwarding
- Select your 10-digit InnoCaption number
- Tap Remove
- Tap Remove again
